Project 365: Day Nine

I was uploading photos and altering “publish” dates like the Cheater McCheaterson I am when I thought, “Dude! I didn’t take a picture for day nine? Not a single picture?”
I then realized that I did, in fact, take one picture in the entire day. I used it with Photobooth on my Mac, so it’s not the greatest (and up yours if you’re thinking, “Well, none of your photos are really that great”), but at least I’m now only missing one day instead of two.

Today, I did a variation of the pasta sauce that I make mostly from scratch. I didn’t have some of the ingredients that I usually use, namely mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. It still turned out well (if I do say so myself) with the use of two cans of diced tomatoes.
The original recipe is from the book How It All Vegan.
No, I don’t have a picture of the finished project. Usually, I’m already hungry by the time I’m cooking. Once everything is done, I’m feeling starved and eating as quickly as possible, leaving nothing of which to take a picture.
Project 365: Day Two

I probably would have achieved better colors if I’d used my DSLR, but that’s not the camera I bring with me when on walks with my son. I have friends who take great and vivid pictures with their point-and-shoots, but I am obviously not one of them. Yet.

so we sat in the house.
We did nothing at all.”
